We are going to be opening up our trade folders for a Halloween Trading Day as part of our Play Pokemon event weekend.
The first 50 trainers to make a trade with us will get a Chaos Rising Fun Pack for free. These are strictly one per person, so as many of our brilliant Pokemon community as possible get a chance. We'd especially love to see these land in the hands of some of our younger trainers who often miss out on product releases through the year.
There's no entry fee or charge. Just bring your cards along and take part in some trading. As well as our own trade folders, there should be plenty of other people to trade with on the day.
How does the trading work?
Our folders are full of commons and uncommons. Trade any of your cards for any of ours, one for one, regardless of value or rarity. We're not here to haggle, just to have fun! If you're feeling generous and trade something rarer into our folders, we'll offer it back out to other players just like everything else in there. It's all about trading cards, having fun, and growing the community.
Are there any limits on participation, or how many people can trade at once?
Trading runs from 10:15am until we close at 5pm. The Chaos Rising Fun Packs are limited to the first 50 trainers to make a trade. If it gets busy around the trading table, we'll hand out tickets so everyone gets a chance to trade and earn a fun pack, in the order they arrived.
Can we trade with other players, or just the store folders?
Trading with other players in-store is very welcome too. It's a Saturday during normal opening hours so space is limited, but we'll do our best to make room for everyone.
Do I need to book or sign up in advance?
No booking needed and it's totally free, just turn up any time between 10:15am and 5pm with your cards.
What condition do the cards need to be in?
We're not fussy, played or lightly worn cards are completely fine for this event. We just ask that nothing's damaged to the point it's unplayable.
Can I trade more than once?
Yes! You can trade as many cards as you like throughout the day. The Chaos Rising Fun Pack is limited to one per person, but there's no limit on general trading.
