Always wanted to try Yu-Gi-Oh! but never really known where to start? Duel Academy is a free, four-month program that takes you from your very first game to building a deck that you can call your own, with rewards to keep along the way.
Your first session
Everyone attending their first Duel Academy gets a demo deck, an activity book and a quick-start guide, so you can pick up the basics at your own pace (and keep learning at home too). Once you've finished your first game, you'll get an acrylic character standee to take home.
Continuing your training
If you'd like to keep going, you'll receive a Progression Guidebook and an Activity Tracker. These are your key to unlocking rewards for the rest of the program.
The Progression Guidebook walks you through some of the deeper strategies and mechanics of the game. It's packed with challenges, and each one you complete earns you new, more powerful cards to add to your deck.
The Activity Tracker is split into groups of tasks. Finish a group and you'll unlock gear to go with your growing collection, uncluding a game mat, a card case, card case dividers, dice, and an A4 file to keep all your rewards safe.
How many sessions do I need to come to?
As many as you like! Every session is free, but we'd expect most players to need at least three to unlock everything on offer, so it's well worth coming back.
Who is it for?
Duel Academy is open to players of all ages. Whether you're completely new to card games or just new to YU-GI-Oh!, it's a relaxed, friendly way to get started with one of the most popular trading card games in the world. Come along, sit down for a game, and see where it takes you.
All rewards are subject to availability, whilst stocks last.
